I was tired after
wandering around the Country Living Fair in the Business Design building and
not impressed by the food on offer and the lack of comfortable seating so on my
way out I saw the side door into Ask and had a lovely glass of Merlot and a Fettucini
bolognese. I couldn't finish it as the
portion was too large for me but great for people with a bigger appetite.
The service was good
and I was in an area where the staff took their breaks and they seemed to eat
the same as the customers which is good to know. I used to work in a steak restaurant and was
told to open a can of baked beans for my break on a Saturday night.
