Lemonia Greek restaurant in Primrose Hill, London, England

We went on a Sunday lunchtime to celebrate a family birthday. The atmosphere was lovely as the restaurant was full. The service was attentive. The starters were on the small side. The mains and dessert were a good size and the wine list was good too. The bill was rather high but then it's what I call a restaurant in a "Happening Place".

Have you tried Zizzi in London?

I went to Zizzi in Charlotte Street in central London.

I had a lovely chilled beer and a spaghetti bolognese. Wasn't impressed by the quality of the meat. Reminded me of school mince in the fifties! Nice outside seating and staff were attentive.  Have you had a better experience?

A refreshing drink for the heatwave

My sister-in-law lives in Turkey and sent this to my husband to help him lose weight.  I drank some one day and found it so refreshing.  I have lost a few pounds but wouldn't put it down to the drink.

You need a jug with a lid
A piece of ginger, peeled and grated
A few mint leaves, washed and taken off the stalk
Slices of lemon
Mineral water

Put the ginger, mint and lemon in the jug and top up with water.  Keep in the fridge.  You can top it up with water no more than twice.  It is supposed to help remove stomach fat, but I just like it as a refreshing summer drink.
